# Get started with Google Classroom

> Set up Type the Word for your Google Workspace, teachers, and students.

Type the Word uses Google Classroom to bring your existing courses and rosters into the app. Teachers and students use the same school Google accounts they already use for Classroom.

## Before you begin

* Choose a Google Workspace administrator to approve Type the Word.
* Confirm teachers and students already have the correct Classroom roles and course memberships.
* Ask everyone to use the same school Google account in Type the Word and Google Classroom.
